Azerbaijan was worthily represented by Elnur Mammadov, an athlete of the AHIITA Martial Arts and Physical Training section, climber and swimmer, at the “Oceanman 2025” competition, one of the most prestigious open water swimming series in the world, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on December 5-7.
This year’s final stage was held on the Kite Beach coast of Dubai, and more than 2,800 athletes from 93 countries participated in the competition. Within the framework of the program, competitions were held in 10 km, 5 km, 2 km, relay and various categories for children. Both the water temperature and weather conditions were favorable for long-distance swimming in open water.
Our athlete Elnur Mammadov successfully completed the competition, covering a distance of 5 km in 2 hours and 10 minutes. This indicator is a clear example of his high physical fitness, willpower and international competition experience.
The AHIITA management and team highly appreciate Elnur Mammadov's worthy representation of Azerbaijan and our organization in an international arena such as "Oceanman 2025". His result is not only a demonstration of our country's potential in open water swimming, but also a source of motivation for young athletes. We wish our athlete success and believe that he will achieve greater success in future competitions.
