On the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, mountaineers of the Trade Union Sports Organization Association of Azerbaijan (AHIITA) organized an expedition to Heydar Peak, located in the Gizil Gaya massif of the Greater Caucasus Main Range.
The expedition successfully concluded with the climbers reaching the summit situated at an altitude of 3,751 meters above sea level. At the peak, the cherished memory of the Great Leader was honored with deep respect, and the national flag of Azerbaijan was proudly raised.
