Our achievements

Turan Dashdemirov, a member of the AHIITA , was remembered for his successful performance at the U20 World Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria, from August 17 to 24. Our athlete, competing in the 55 kg weight category in Greco-Roman wrestling, confidently advanced to the final match. Turan Dashdemirov, who lost to Iranian Payam Balutaki with a score of 3:5 in the decisive match, was awarded the silver medal of the World Championship. The work of his personal coach, Honored Coach Akif Aliyev, should also be especially emphasized in this success. At  the U-17 World Championship held in Athens, Greece from July 28 to August 3, the Greco-Roman wrestling representative of the AHIITA  Ali Nazarov (60 kg ) won the title of world champion with a magnificent performance!In the final match, Ali fought confidently against the representative of Kyrgyzstan Amangeldi Ysakbayev and won the first gold medal for the Azerbaijani national team at the U-17 World Championship with a 6;1 victory. We would like to express our special gratitude to Ali Nazarov’s personal coach Azer Huseynov for his support and hard work in this success.

 We congratulate Ali Nazarov , who has proven his determination, hard work and professionalism at the world level, and wish him new heights in future competitions!

The Azerbaijani national team achieved historic success at the European School Boxing Championship held in Zlatibor, Serbia. Our team, which won 3 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze medals in total, showed high results in the continental championship as the second Europa.

Four members of the AHIITA also performed successfully in this prestigious tournament and represented our country worthily:

Abbasali Mammadli (48 kg) – became the European Champion after winning a 4:1 victory over the Armenia representative.

As AHIITA, we welcome the high results shown by our young athletes with great pride. We congratulate our athletes and their hardworking coaches who have achieved these successes, and we highly appreciate the invaluable role they have played in the successful representation of Azerbaijani sports in the international arena.

The result once again proves that the sports potential of our country is strong and the new generation of athletes is determined to carry this flag even higher.

The team of the Azerbaijan Sport Academy, representing our country at the European Universities Futsal Championship held in Zagreb / Croatia, achieved a great achievement. Our representatives won the championship by defeating the team of the University of Valencia, Spain, 7:2 in the final match. In addition, our team member Aghaseyid Gasimov was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament and was awarded an individual award. It should be noted that our team’s participation in the European Championship was organized by the Azerbaijan Student Football Federation Public Union, with the support of AFFA, the AHIITA and the Trade Union of Science and Education Workers and the Azerbaijan Sport Academy. The AHIITA has been a member of the European Student Sport Association (EUSA) since 2008. We congratulate all the members of our team and their coaches on this great success, and express our deep gratitude for their determination and for representing our country so well!

The AHIITA has shown successful results in the “Turan Cup” International boxing tournament held in Alanya, Turkiye.

Representatives of AHIITA have won 3 gold medals in the competition organized among schoolchildren on June 10-13, representing our country and the organization at a high level.

Azerbaijani national team athletes and members of the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association  Mehman Rasulov (75kg) and Yusif Aghakishiyev (80kg) won gold medals in the IFS U-15 Sports Games in Zlatibor (Serbia) defeating representatives of Serbia and Ukraine respectively in the final fights.

With this magnificent result, they successfully represented Azerbaijani boxing and the AHIITA in the international arena.
