The rock climbing tournament "In the footsteps of heroes" organized on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Victory Day was held in Shusha on October 4-5. The two-day event gave the participants a sense of both sportsmanship and patriotism.
Tournament program:
Day 1: Participants marched from Mukhtar village to Cidir Plain and got acquainted with the glorious paths traveled by our heroes.
Day 2: The rock climbing competition organized in Cidir Plain was the scene of intense and interesting competition. At the end of the competition, the winning teams were awarded diplomas and gifts.
This tournament is not only a sports event, but also has great importance in terms of paying tribute to the dear memory of our martyrs, preserving our Victory history, and educating young people in the spirit of patriotism.
Athletes also actively participated in this grand event under the leadership of Faig Mursagulov, mountaineering coach and teacher of the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association (AHIITA)
