Date and place of birth: March 9, 1947, Ganja city
Education:
From 1965 to 1970, he received higher education at the Energy Faculty of the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry.
Chess career and coaching activity:
Has been involved in chess since 1960.
In 1964, he won first place at the USSR zonal championship held in Kishinev.
In 2015 and 2017, a significant portion of the medals won by Azerbaijani players at the European and World Championships belonged to his students.
Over the years, he has trained numerous international masters, FIDE Masters (FM), Candidate Masters (CM), first-rank players, and winners and medalists of both international and national tournaments.
Public and professional activity:
Actively participated in the development of the State Program for the Development of Chess.
Member of the commission of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Serves as an expert at entrance exams at the Azerbaijan State Institute of Physical Education and Sport.
Since 2004, he has been working as a chess coach-instructor in the "Chess and Intellectual Games" section of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association.

December 21, 2023 — Awarded the "Progress" Medal by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his services to the development of sports in Azerbaijan (presented in Khankendi city)
