AHİİTA Wrestlers Win 5 Medals at Azerbaijan Championship

From January 7 to 11, the Azerbaijan Championship in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling was successfully held at Baku Sports Palace. AHİİTA athletes distinguished themselves by winning a total of 5 medals (2 silver, 3 bronze).

Greco-Roman Wrestling:

67 kg – Murad Aliyev (Coach: Fuad Aydinli) – bronze medal
87 kg – Abdullah Hasanov (Coach: Fuad Aydinli) – bronze medal

Freestyle Wrestling:

65 kg – Musa Agayev (Coach: Araz Suleymanov) – silver medal
70 kg – Ramik Heybatov (Coach: Araz Suleymanov) – silver medal
70 kg – Mircavad Nabiyev (Coach: Elvin Aslanov) – bronze medal
