Our team took second place in the world

The World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships, held in Zagreb, Croatia, have concluded.

Our Greco-Roman wrestling team, having won one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals at the prestigious competition, finished second in the world in the team standings, scoring 89 points

Iran (180) took first place, and Uzbekistan (72) took third.

Under the guidance of head coach Alexander Tarakanov, senior coach Rovshan Bayramov and coaches Gasan Aliyev, Elvin Mursaliyev and Kamran Mamedov, Ulvu Ganizade (72 kg) won the gold medal, Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) won the silver medal, and Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg) and Murad Akhmadiev (97 kg) won the bronze medals.
