Greco-Roman Wrestling Competition Concludes – AHİİTA Wins 11 Medals

The U-20 Azerbaijan Championship in Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling, held at the Ganja Sports Palace, continues. Within the framework of the championship, the Greco-Roman wrestling competition has officially concluded.

Athletes representing the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association Public Union (AHİİTA) delivered a successful performance.

Gold Medalists:
• Emin Javadli (55 kg) – Coach: Honored Coach Akif Aliyev
• Maksut Cankurtaran (60 kg) – Coach: Fuad Aydinli
• Tural Ahmadov (63 kg) – Coach: Fuad Aydinli
• Murad Aliyev (67 kg) – Coach: Fuad Aydinli
• Orkhan Hajiyev (87 kg) – Coach: Honored Coach Rashad Rashidov

Silver Medalists:
• Javidan Nehmatov (77 kg) – Coach: Sanan Isgandarov
• Zaur Huseynli (82 kg) – Coach: Honored Coach Islam Jafarov
• Abdulla Hasanov (87 kg) – Coach: Fuad Aydinli

Bronze Medalists:
• Aykhan Asadli (60 kg) – Coach: Fuad Aydinli
• Fuad Huseynli (97 kg) – Coach: Honored Coach Islam Jafarov
• Elmeddin Rzayev (130 kg) – Coach: Eldar Mammadov

The AHİİTA team concluded the Greco-Roman wrestling competition with 5 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals, totaling 11 medals.

We congratulate our athletes and all coaches who contributed to their preparation and wish them continued success in the ongoing freestyle wrestling competitions.

The U-20 Azerbaijan Championship will continue until February 7.
