Another gold medal in the league competition

The Baku European Judo Hopes Tournament, organized by the European Judo Union, at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, has successfully concluded. Representatives of the AHIITA honored our co8untry by distinguishing themselves with their determined struggles and high professionalism.

The following result were achieved in the U-13 age category:

Gulay Aghayeva (-32kg)  – 1st place

Ayla Mammadli ( -40kg) – 2nd place

The work of coach, honored coach Matanat Suleymanova is especially noted in these successful results. Her professional training and support created the conditions for our young athletes to succeed in the international arena.

A total of 436 athletes (364 boys, 72 girls) from 12 countries participated in the tournament. World and European level technical sessions were also organized as part of the competition.

The successes of our young people make us proud and we wish them success towards new heights.

Our athlete Eljan Hajiyev (90kg), who competed at the 32nd World Summer Universiade in Germany, won a silver medal!

In the second round of the U-14 Judo League held at the Sports and Health center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Ayla Mammadli ( 40 kg ) , a member of the AHIITA , defeated all her rivals and took first place.

In the first round of the U-17 Junior Judo League competition held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, the representative of the AHIITA successfully completed in the 52kg weight category and took 3rd place.

This result, achieved in a prestigious competition in which hundreds of athletes participated, is a clear example of the determination and hard work of our young judoka.

The first round of the U-14 Junior League competition held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex has successfully concluded. Ayla Mammadli  ( 40 kg) won a gold medal.

545 judokas from 101 clubs and sports societies participated in the competition.  Ayla Mammadli distinguished herself in this highly competitive environment and raised the name of AHIITA. Her coach Matanat Suleymanova also played a major role in this success.

A rating table will be formed based on the rounds to be held by the end of the year, and it is expected that the achievements of AHIITA athletes will continue.
