Two Medals in the First Round of the U-14 League

On February 21–22, the first round of the U-14 Judo League was held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.

Young judokas representing AHİİTA delivered strong performances.

Ayla Mammadli (44 kg) – gold medal
Gulay Aghayeva (36 kg) – silver medal

We congratulate the athletes and their personal coach, Honored Coach Matanat Suleymanova, and wish them success in upcoming competitions.

A total of 586 judokas (488 boys, 98 girls) from 94 clubs and sports societies competed in 18 weight categories.

It should be noted that three rounds of the U-14 League are planned for 2026. These competitions will play a key role in shaping the athletes’ ranking standings.
