Cooperation between AHIITA and AJF continues

 A cooperation meeting between AHIITA and the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation was held on 23 May  at the administrative building of the AHIK.

At the meeting the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation was represented by Vice President Fikrat Huseynov and Secretary General Elnara Musayeva, and the AHIITA director Tural Gasimov.

The main topics of the discussions were the development of cycling within the structures of trade unions, the involvement of young people in this sport, the organization of joint events, the implementation of educational projects and future cooperation prospects.

Vice President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation Fikrat Huseynov emphasized the importance of the meeting and noted:

“As a federation, we are always open to cooperation with public organizations. Negotiations with AHIITA will allow for wider promotion of cycling in the future.”

During the event, a preliminary agreement was reached between the two organizations on the development of a joint action plan. The next steps were discussed to implement joint projects based on mutual interests and make cooperation sustainable.

On 20 May 2025 a meeting was held between AHIITA and the Azerbaijan Sambo Federation on cooperation in the administrative building of the AHIITA.

The meeting was attended by Ramin Mahmudov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Sambo Federation, and  Sahilman Aghayev, a member of the Executive Committee of the federation, honored coach, and spoke about the development and future prospects of the sambo sport.

In his speech, Tural Gasimov, Director of AHIITA, touched upon the development of sports in the trade union system, especially the popularization of sambo, increasing the interest of young people in this sport, and the possibilities of implementing joint projects.

The parties exchanged views on the promotion of sambo among colleagues, the organization of joint events, and cooperation on social projects.

This meeting was assessed as the basis for future joint activities.

 

The meeting was held in administrative building of the AHIITA on cooperation with the Azderbaijan Judo Federation on 2 May 2025.

The meeting was attended by delegations led by Jeyhun Rahmanov, Project Manager of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, and the Director of the AHIITA, Tural Gasimov.

During the discussions, the two sides talked about ways to develop judo, carry out joint social and sports projects, organize shred championships and tournaments, hold training camps, and find new ways to spark youn people’s interest in the sport.

During the meeting, Jeyhun Rahmanov, representative of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation said:

“As a federation, we are working to popularize judo in the country and form a healthy lifestyle among youth.Cooperation with AHIITA will play an important role in achieving these goals.”

In his speech, Tural Gasimov , Director of the AHIITA noted:

We attach special importance to judo in promoting a healthy lifestyle among our colleagues. The projects to be implemented jointly with the Azerbaijan Judo Federation will be valuable in terms of both the development of the sport and the correct guidance of the younger generation”.

This meeting is considered one of the important steps taken by the parties towards the implementation of successful joint initiatives in the local and international arenas in the future.

An official meeting was held between AHIITA and Azerbaijan boxing Federation on 30 Aprel 2025 at the administrative building of the AHIITA.

The meeting was attended by delegations, led by the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation, Naghi Safarov, and the Director of the AHIITA Tural Gasimov.

During the discussions between the parties, a wide exchange of views was held on the issues of developing the sport of boxing, implementing joint sports projects, organizing championships and tournaments, as well as increasing the interest of youth in sport.

Secretary General of Azerbaijan Boxing Federation, Naghi Safarov, said:

“As the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation, we are actively working towards the development and popularization of boxing in the country.Cooperation with AHIITA will create new opportunities for both athletes and youth in this area”

Tural Gasimov, Director of the AHIITA noted:

“As AHIITA, we devote a special place to physically and morally strengthening sports such as boxing in promoting a healthy lifestyle with the Federation are of great importance in terms of youth development and instilling sports values”.

This meeting is considered one of the important steps taken towards the implementation of joint sports initiatives at the local and international levels in the future.

On 18 April 2025 in administrative building of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation was held a meeting between Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association and the Azerbaijan Bicycle Federation.

The meeting discussed issues of mutual cooperation, implementation of joint projects, as well as organization of joint events in the future. The parties exchanged views on increasing the physical activity of colleagues , promoting a healthy lifestyle and implementing joint initiatives in the field of sports.

Speaking at the event, Advisor to the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation Nigar Vahabzade emphasized the importance of cooperation between trade unions and the possibility of mutual exchange of experience in holding such meetings.

The President of the Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union Araz Pashayev and  Director of the Public Association Tural Gasimov expressed confidence that combining the potential of both organizations will allow implementing successful projects.

The meeting continued with a fruitful exchange of views, during which preliminary agreements were reached on further stages of mutual cooperation.

An official meeting was  held between the Director of the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations  Association Tural Gasimov, the President of the  World Alpagut Federation Jala Ahmadova and  the President of  the Azerbaijan Alpagut Federation Fuad Guliyev.

The parties discussed the expansion of mutual cooperation, the implementation of joint projects, the promotion of the Alpagut martial art among colleagues, and the involvement of young people in this sport.

In her speech the President of the World Alpagut Federation, Jala Ahmadova said:

“Alpagut is a martial art that reflects our national identity. We believe that thanks to this cooperation, a significant contribution will be made to the development and spread of Alpagut in the structure of trade unions”.

Director of AHIITA  Tural Gasimov emphasized:

“As AHIITA , we are always ready to support the development of national sports. The implementation of joint projects related to Alpagut will be an important step in this direction”.

The President of the Azerbaijan  Alpagut  Federation Fuad Guliyev added:

As the Azerbaijan Alpagut Federation , we attach special importance to the wider promotion and dissemination of this martial art among the  youth. Cooperation with AHIITA is very important in this regards”.

As a result of the meeting, it is planned to take important steps towards the implementation of sports projects at both the local and international levels with joint initiatives in the future.

Today an important meeting was held in the administrative building of the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association between the First Vice –President of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation Elshan Abdulrahimov and the Director of Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association Tural Gasimov.

At the meeting discussed the prospects for mutual cooperation, exchanged views on the organization of joint events and the development of  Kickboxing. The director Tural Gasimov noted that the association attaches great importance to the development of sports not only at the professional level, but also in public and trade union organization.

At the same time it was emphasized that both training programs and competitions are planned. Thanks to this cooperation, broader support for athletes and further development of Kickboxing in the country are expected.

A cooperation meeting was held on 7 April between the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association and the  Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. The meeting discussed issues of mutual partnership, implementation of joint projects and organization of joint sports events.

The main topic of the discussions between the parties was the expansion of cooperation, the organization of joint events and opportunities for joint activities in the field of sports development. In particular, an exchange of views took place on the popularization of wrestling, the implementation of projects between professional and amateur athletes, as well as the organization of joint sports events in the regions.

The meeting also discussed issues of promoting a healthy lifestyle, involving the younger generation in sports and more effectively realizing the existing potential for cooperation with the federation.

AHIITA and the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation  will continue to strengthen cooperation and implement joint projects for the development of sports.

A cooperation meeting was held on 2 April  between the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations  Association and the Azerbaijan Karate Federation . The meeting discussed issues of mutual partnership, implementation of joint projects and organization of joint sports events.

Secretary General of the Azerbaijan  Karate Federation  Gabil Seyidov provided detailed information on the activities and future plans of the federation, emphasized the importance of cooperation with trade unions and the prospects for the development of karate in the country.

Director of the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association Tural Gasimov shared his views on the role of sport within trade unions, social and professional support of athletes, as well as planned events in this direction.

The meeting was remembered for a fruitful exchange of views and confidence was expressed that the interaction between the two organizations would expand further in the future.
