The athletes of the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport Organizations Association (AHIITA) showed high results and won medals in karate competitions within the framework of the III CIS Games.
In the competitions, Asiman Gurbanli won a silver medal in the +84 kg weight category, and Rashid Suleymanov won a bronze medal in the 75 kg weight category.
These successes are the result of our athletes demonstrating high professionalism and endurance in the face of strong competitors in the international arena. The work of our personal trainer-teacher, Honored Trainer Seymur Khudaverdiyev and the senior trainer of the Azerbaijani karate team, Honored Trainer Rashad Huseynov should also be specially noted in achieving these achievements.
These achieved results once again reveal the level of development of Azerbaijani karate and the level of preparation of our athletes for international competitions.
