The prestigious Karate 1 Series A international tournament, organized by the World Karate Federation (WKF), was held in Tbilisi, Georgia. Azerbaijan national team member and AHİİTA athlete Madina Sadigova delivered an impressive performance at the event.
Competing in the women’s 55 kg weight category, Madina Sadigova advanced to the final after defeating all her opponents. In the decisive bout, she faced an athlete from Iran and claimed second place, earning the silver medal.
It is worth noting that the Karate 1 Series A tournament brought together nearly 1,200 karate athletes from more than 70 countries, highlighting the high level of competition.
This achievement represents an important success for Azerbaijani karate on the international stage.
