Madina Sadigova won third place at the “Kazakhstan Open” international karate tournament

Karatekas of the Association of Sports Organizations of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (AHIITA) achieved successful results at the international tournament "Marmara Cup" held in Turkey. Our athletes distinguished themselves at the tournament:

* Nuran Rzazade (up to 67 kg) - gold medal

* Madina Sadigova (up to 55 kg) - silver medal

* Fatima Jabrayilova (up to 50 kg) - bronze medal

In these achievements in the international arena, the work of their personal coach, Honored Coach Seymur Khudavediev, should be especially noted. It should be noted that about 2,000 karatekas from 28 countries took part in the competition. The results shown by AHIITA athletes contributed to the overall success of the national team and were of great importance for preparation for the upcoming CIS Games. Athletes of the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sport organizations association achieved successful results at the “Chisinau Karate Open Grand Prix” International tournament held in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova in June 2025.

Nigar Khanvaliyeva, who competed in the 54 kg weight category in the U-14 age category defeated all her rivals and won the gold medal.Fatima Jabrailova, who competed in the 50 kg weight category among adults, won the silver medal.

The karate rating tournament dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic War Safarov Jasarat and Safarov Shahmar was held on May 21-22 at the Sports and Health center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations under the leadership and organization of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation.

AHIITA karate players achieved high results in the competition:

Madina Sadigova 55 kg – first place

Nuray Bayramli 55 kg – third place

Gunay Ramazanova 61 kg – third place

At the 15th  European Senior Shotokan Karate Tournament held in Targu Mures / Romania , on May 16-18. Fatima Jabrayilova (50kg) a representative of the AHIITA, won a gold medal by defeating all her rivals!
