The Baku City Championship in chess among U-12 girls was held jointly by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
The competition took place at the Republican Education Sports Center – Specialized Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports Chess School No. 3. AHİİTA chess player Maryam Nuriyeva won the bronze medal.
The winners were awarded diplomas and medals by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department.

It should be noted that the top six players earned the right to compete in the Azerbaijan Championship.
