The Chess Tournament Dedicated to the Novruz Holiday Has Concluded

On March 6–8, the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (AHİİTA) held a qualification chess tournament dedicated to the Novruz holiday.

According to the results of the tournament, which was held in an exciting and competitive sporting atmosphere, the winners were determined as follows:

4th Category:
• 1st place — Leyla Akbarova
• 2nd place — Kamilla Dinbazova
• 3rd place — Akif Pashayev

3rd Category:
• 1st place — Nicat Aliyev
• 2nd place — Rual Alakbarli
• 3rd place — Omer Mamedov

2nd Category:
• 1st place — Ruslan Guliyev
• 2nd place — Hamid Mammadli
• 3rd place — Aykhan Bakirov

The winners of the tournament were awarded diplomas and medals.
