The representative of Azerbaijan at the World Youth Championship in 100-square checkers held in Antalya, Turkey, and a talented athlete of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (AHIITA), Banu Ali, has come into the spotlight with her successful performance.
Our young athlete, who showed high results in the competitions, won a silver medal in rapid checkers by scoring 10 points out of 7 rounds, and a bronze medal in blitz checkers by scoring 8 points out of 7 rounds.
This success is a clear indicator of Banu Ali's growing experience at the international level and the rising level of development of the Azerbaijani checkers school.
