Achievements of AHİİTA Athletes in International and National Competitions in 2025

Throughout 2025, athletes of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (AHİİTA) successfully competed in national and international tournaments, achieving high results and making a significant contribution to the development of sports in the country.

During the year, AHİİTA representatives won 63 gold, 30 silver, and 18 bronze medals at international tournaments, as well as at European and World Championships.

In national competitions, they secured 55 gold, 51 silver, and 73 bronze medals, bringing the total number of medals at the domestic level to 179.

Thus, in 2025, AHİİTA athletes achieved an overall medal tally of 118 gold, 81 silver, and 91 bronze medals, for a total of 290 medals.

Medals Won by Sport:

  • Freestyle Wrestling: 25 gold, 27 silver, 36 bronze → 88 medals

  • Greco-Roman Wrestling: 15 gold, 19 silver, 24 bronze → 58 medals

  • Rhythmic Gymnastics: 38 gold, 9 silver, 5 bronze → 52 medals

  • Boxing: 19 gold, 9 silver, 8 bronze → 36 medals

  • Judo: 11 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze → 18 medals

  • Karate: 6 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronze → 15 medals

  • Sambo: 3 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze → 12 medals

  • Chess: 3 silver, 2 bronze → 5 medals

  • Taekwondo: 2 silver, 1 bronze → 3 medals

  • Checkers: 1 gold, 2 bronze → 3 medals

The results achieved not only demonstrate the high level of preparation of the athletes but also once again confirm the significant role of the modern sports infrastructure established by AHİİTA.

In 2025, AHİİTA’s sports hall was renovated in accordance with modern standards, the infrastructure was improved, and athletes were fully equipped with up-to-date sports equipment. These steps made it possible to organize the training and competition preparation process more efficiently.

The leadership of AHİİTA expresses its gratitude to all athletes, coaches, and everyone who contributed to these achievements and wishes the athletes even greater success in upcoming competitions.
